Section 1 - Introduction

8th generation of the brewery: Mr. Makoto Akutsu

Located in Otawara city, Tochigi prefecture, Kikunosato Shuzo has been brewing sake since 1866. The brand “Daina” was launched in 2004 by the current 8th generation of the brewery, Mr. Makoto Akutsu. He constantly challenges himself and continues to pursue the production of the finest sake, aspiring to deliver the best to sake lovers in Japan and overseas.
