Good food brings happiness. And we love to spread joy across the community, including to those in need. Our newest (and most handsome) city’super ambassador Chef Polar is now here to help raise funds for Food Angel’s food rescue cause. At a small sum of $168, you can bring home this special edition plushie companion; you can even directly donate it to kids while we take care of the delivery. There are options to donate and volunteer as well; all proceeds will go to Food Angel without deducting any costs.

Since 2017, City Super Group has been collaborating with Food Angel to rescue edible surplus food. The carefully selected food items are sent to Food Angel to prepare nutritious meals, which are then distributed to those in need in Hong Kong. This initiative echoes our heartfelt belief in "crafting a better lifestyle".

Join us to volunteer at Food Angel! Be it preparing raw ingredients and meal boxes, an extra pair of hands makes a big difference.



We have rescued 151 tons of edible surplus food and counting.

The rescued food has been produced to more than 222 thousand meal boxes for the needy.

More than 91 thousand of dry food packs are distributed to the families in need.

  • No tax-deductible receipt for charitable donations will be arranged by City Super Limited.
  • Without deducting any costs, all sales and donations from the “Bear with Love” charity programme will be entirely donated to Food Angel through City Super Limited.
  • Until 28 February 2022 (Mon), upon purchases of Chef Polar at city ’super or LOG-ON physical stores and e-Shop; or donations in $50 or $100 or their multiples via e-Shop, 2X loyalty points will be granted to super e members and 3X loyalty points will be granted to super e-gold members.
  • The bonus loyalty points of this charity programme cannot be applied in conjunction with other bonus loyalty points offer (e.g. Winterfest).
  • Purchases of Chef Polar and donations are not applicable to super e-gold year-round discount or other promotion coupons.
  • Purchases of Chef Polar at city’super e-Shop are applicable to store pick-up services only, for details please refer to e-Shop.
  • When ordering at e-Shop, purchases of Chef Polar cannot be checked out together with the donation items and other products; purchases of Chef Polar (donation) can be checked out with donation of $50 or $100 but cannot be combined with other products.
